Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager for transformer projects in India. The role focuses on end-to-end execution, coordinating with engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance to deliver on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in transformer project management, strong stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of safety and quality protocols for power equipment.
To independently manage and execute transformer supply and service contracts, ensuring delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. The role demands strong coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders to deliver transformer projects on time, within budget, and as per technical specifications.
End-to-end execution of transformer orders , including supply, installation, and commissioning as applicable.
Act as a single point of contact for assigned projects – managing schedules, deliverables, and customer interactions.
Prepare and monitor project execution plans, schedules, and progress reports.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, planning, procurement, logistics, quality, and finance) to ensure smooth project flow.
Review contract terms and ensure adherence to commercial, technical, and statutory obligations.
Track and manage project costs, variations, and claims in coordination with contracts and finance teams.
Handle customer meetings, inspections (FAT), and site coordination activities when required.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including MOMs, billing schedules, invoices, and handover reports.
Resolve execution challenges through proactive planning and customer coordination.
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 8 years of project management and contract execution experience, specifically in transformer projects (preferably including EHV/UHV transformers)
Good understanding of transformer manufacturing, testing, and supply chain flow
Familiarity with customer segments such as PGCIL, SEBs, EPCs, and private industries
Working knowledge of statutory requirements, safety, and quality protocols for power equipment projects
Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong documentation and reporting abilities
Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently

Cost and margin control during execution
Timely customer billing and payment realization
Number of NCRs/penalties avoided or mitigated
