Job summary

Neolite Zkw Lightings in Haryana invites a Lead Process Engineer to steer automotive lighting process engineering for Head Lamp and Tail Lamp manufacturing. You will develop and optimize assembly and sub-assembly processes, drive cycle time reductions, line balancing and productivity improvements, and establish SOPs and work instructions.

You will lead NPD from concept to SOP, implement APQP, PFMEA and PPAP, and coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance to ensure robust process

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automotive lighting manufacturing and assembly.
• Strong knowledge of NPD, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP and process validation.
• Proficiency in Lean, Kaizen, 5S and OEE.
• Experience in jig, fixture, tooling and poka-yoke development.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for automotive lighting products (Head Lamp/Tail Lamp).

Role & responsibilities

• Lead Process Engineering activities for Automotive Lighting products, including Head Lamps and Tail Lamps.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for Head Lamp assembly, sub-assembly and component manufacturing.
• Drive process improvement, cycle time reduction, productivity enhancement and line balancing.
• Develop and validate process parameters, work instructions, process flow and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle new product development (NPD) and process development from concept to SOP, including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan and PPAP.
• Identify process-related issues in Head Lamp/Tail Lamp manufacturing and conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D.
• Drive Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S and OEE improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room and NPD teams for process stabilization and continuous improvement.
• Support jig, fixture, tooling and poka-yoke development for automotive lighting assembly processes.
• Conduct process trials, validation and capability studies for new or modified processes.
• Analyze process losses, rejection, downtime and productivity data and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with customer requirements, quality standards and internal process controls.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in Automotive Lighting, particularly Head Lamp / Tail Lamp manufacturing and assembly, will be preferred.

• Strong exposure to NPD, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP and process validation.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, OEE, 5S and process optimization.
• Experience in jig, fixture, tooling and poka-yoke development.
• Strong analytical and Root Cause Analysis / Problem-Solving skills.
