Job summary

Randstad in India seeks a Senior Quality Lead for the Lighting Division to oversee the entire quality function. You will drive incoming, in-process, and final QC, address customer complaints with 8D and CAPA, and mentor the quality team while coordinating with production and suppliers.

The role requires hands-on experience with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D, plus leadership and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive lighting quality and customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reduce Customer PPM, rejection, rework and internal defects.
• Lead APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities.
• Conduct internal/process/product audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, D&D, Purchase and Suppliers for quality improvement.
• Drive Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review quality KPIs and present performance to management.
• Lead and develop the Quality team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Automotive / Auto Components.
• Experience in Automotive Lighting will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D.
• Good knowledge of customer quality requirements and audit processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
