Job summary

G R Infraprojects Limited is seeking an Assistant role to support surveys and investigations by converting PDFs to Excel/Word, maintaining IRC code libraries, and ensuring timely work order creation in SAP. The role focuses on documentation, design support, and coordination with procurement, accounts, IT and BIM teams.

The incumbent will assist design engineers, manage billing and invoicing, and ensure proper document management for design work, with growing responsibilities as projects advance.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in a relevant field required.
• Experience in surveys & investigations preferred.
• Familiarity with IRC codes and BIM documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in work order creation.
• Convert PDF documents into Excel or Word for pre-bid design.
• Keep IRC codes updated and maintain the library.
• Maintain design document management.
• Support print and binding of drawings for engineers.
• Billing and invoicing in SAP for surveys & investigations.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, IT and BIM team for work orders.
• Issue signed contract documents to design engineers after project award.
• Periodically check BIM-uploaded documents/pictures.

The role holder will be responsible for extending support while ensuring proper documentation. They will also be responsible for ensuring work order creation for surveys & investigations in timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting manager in work order creation.
• Responsible for the conversion of PDF documents into Excel or Word document for pre-bid design.
• Ensure to keep track of the latest updates in IRC codes from website.
• Ensure to maintain the library of IRC codes.
• Responsible for the document management related to Design.
• Assist design engineers in printing & binding of large no. of hardcopies of drawings.
• Responsible for billing work related to surveys & investigations in SAP.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, IT & B&B team for work order creation in SAP.
• Responsible for maintaining billing & invoicing control of vendors involved in surveys & investigations.
• Issuance of signed contract document to team of design engineers once project is awarded.
• Periodically checking the documents / pictures uploaded on BIM.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Min ITI/ Diploma
• O3(Junior Assistant): Min 3 years’ experienc
• O4(Assistant): Min 5 years’ experience
• O5(Senior Assistant): Min 7 years’ experience
