Job summary

GR Infraprojects Limited is seeking a design professional to handle specific portions of design assignments across civil, mechanical or electrical domains. The role emphasizes timely execution, adherence to design standards, and quality compliance with client and government requirements.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of design experience with a Diploma, or 1–2 years with BE/BTech, or 1 year with an M.Tech, and will report to the Design Lead on project deliverables and progress.

Responsibilities

• Execute allotted design activity under guidance of Project Head or Lead – Design within set timelines.
• Review design quality and schedule with Lead – Design and report progress daily.
• Ensure design deliverables meet client/government quality standards and timelines.
• Inform seniors about progress and obtain approvals/input to smooth delivery.
• Document and secure all design information through proper reporting mechanisms.

The role holder is accountable for the completion of the specific part of the design assignment at project. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth execution of the allotted aspect of the design assignment with best quality and as per the set timelines. The incumbent is also responsible for resolving operational issues to ensure minimal impact on the design delivery timelines at project.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as per the allotted design activity provided by the team Project Head or Lead – Design and provide design solutions as per the set design standards and the set timelines for the design activity.
• Review the design creation quality and schedule with the Lead – Design through daily progress report and collect accurate data for reporting.
• Ensure that the design deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality compliance with quality standards set by the client and government.
• Apprise the seniors of the design assignment progress for getting design approvals from the client and request for support/ necessary inputs to ensure smooth design delivery.
• Ensure that all design information is appropriately documented and secured through the relevant reporting mechanisms

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical with 2-3 years’ experience in design.
• BE/ B. Tech with 1-2 years’ experience in design.
• M. Tech with min. 1 years’ experience in design.
