The role holder assists the manager in the detailed budgeting (R1) of assigned projects and is responsible for executing the related activities for the assigned cluster of projects. The role holder ensures proper documentation and storage of relevant documents like revisions to BOQ and client correspondence for design and drawing approvals. Provides help to manager in drafting the letters for client clearances and addressing client queries in accordance with the contractual terms and previous communication records. The incumbent has to build and understanding of contractual scope and assist the Manager in identifying red flags on mismatch of BOQ and contractual agreement. The role holder is expected to identify and list the possible risks and possible opportunities for COS for one or two projects as assigned by the Manager. The role holder must build an understanding of design elements and contractual agreement to be able to take up BOQ preparation and BOQ v/s CA analysis over a period of time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the manager on the BOQ preparation for the assigned projects, and work with a clear understanding of quantity surveying.
• Coordinate and collaborate with project teams and Design team at CO to facilitate inputs for BOQ preparation and BOQ revisions from time to time.
• Review past reports and contracts and build an understanding of the contractual agreement and identify and list possible risks, optimization scopes and possibilities of COS and share with the Manager in prescribed timelines.
• Analyses and build an understanding of contractual agreements and design elements in line with the BOQ and identify relevant red flags.
• Prepare the drafts for client communication and clearances and get them approved from GM-Tech.
• Responsible for documentation and storage of all BOQ, BOQ revisions, client letters and other communication & related documents for easy accessibility always.
• Interaction with site teams and design team for COS and BOQ revisions .
• Present periodic MIS to the manager about various analytics and insights generated from understanding of design & drawing and contract agreement.
