Job summary

RCM Business seeks a diligent Legal Counsel to manage drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance for manufacturing operations across India.

You will coordinate with external advocates, advise on DPDP Act and labour laws, handle licensing, and maintain legal MIS and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Legal drafting, documentation and negotiation of agreements, contracts, notices, and replies.
• Regulatory compliance and licensing for plants (FSSAI, FDA, Factory & Boiler, Labour Laws).
• Handling legal cases and representing the company before various courts in India.
• Coordinate with external advocates for district court, high court, civil, consumer, and criminal matters.
• Provide legal opinions on business queries related to direct selling, product claims and regulatory matters.
• Advise stakeholders on legal risk, compliance requirements and corrective actions.
• Oversee legal compliances of manufacturing plants under labour, factory, environmental laws.
• Maintain legal MIS, compliance trackers and documentation systems.

Brief Job Description:

• Legal Drafting, Documentation and negotiation (Agreement, Contracts, Legal Notice Reply, Legal Cases Reply, Consumer Cases Reply, Affidavits etc.)
• Regulatory Compliance and Licensing wrt to companys existing and new manufacturing plants (FSSAI, FDA, Factory and Boiler, Labou Laws etc.)
• Handling legal cases of the company, appointing advocates and representing company before different courts across India.
• Coordinate with external advocates for district court, high court, civil, consumer, and criminal matters.
• Working knowledge of Information Technology Laws (DPDP Act, Sensitive Data Protection)
• Provide legal opinions on business queries related to direct selling practices, product claims, contracts, and regulatory matters
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, compliance requirements, and corrective actions
• Legal compliances of manufacturing plants and company relating to various laws labour, factory, Air and Water Act (CTE & CTO), Environment related laws.
• Maintain legal MIS, compliance trackers, and documentation systems.
