We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Legal Executive to support the team in managing the company’s legal, compliance and corporate governance matters in India. The role requires experience across commercial contracting, litigation management, corporate secretarial matters, regulatory compliance and implementation of group legal and compliance standards. The successful candidate should be able to work independently on assigned matters under the guidance of the Legal Team, collaborate with business stakeholders, and provide practical legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Support the Company’s corporate governance framework. Prepare board and committee meeting agendas, notices, resolutions and minutes. Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable Secretarial Standards. Coordinate statutory filings with the Registrar of Companies and other regulatory authorities. Maintain statutory registers, records and corporate documentation. Assist in board appointments, resignations and other corporate actions.
Strong drafting and contract negotiation skills. Sound knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013 and corporate secretarial practices. Good understanding of Indian commercial laws and litigation processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Demonstrates high integrity, sound judgment, and strong ethical standards.
Experience in the manufacturing, chemicals, industrial or infrastructure sectors would be an advantage. Exposure to multinational corporate environments is strongly preferred.
