Job summary

Mittal Electronics in Sonipat, Haryana, is seeking a skilled professional to oversee Contract Labour Management, Contractor Management, Legal Compliance, HR Policies, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.

You will coordinate with department heads, ensure compliance with labour laws, supervise payroll inputs, attendance, and HRIS records, and drive worker engagement and policy adherence.

Job description

1. Contract Labour Management

• Manage deployment, attendance, wage administration, and engagement of contract labour workforce.
• Monitor contractor manpower utilization and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with Contract Labour regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower requirements and workforce planning.
• Resolve issues related to contract workers and maintain harmonious industrial relations.

2. Contractor Management

• Liaise with contractors for manpower sourcing and deployment.
• Verify contractor licenses, registrations, statutory records, and compliance documents.
• Conduct periodic audits of contractor compliance and documentation.
• Review contractor bills, attendance records, and wage payment records.
• Ensure contractors adhere to company safety, security, and HR guidelines.

3. Legal Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Maintain records related to Factories Act, CLRA Act, EPF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and other labour legislations.
• Coordinate inspections by labour authorities and statutory bodies.
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain statutory registers and records.
• Work closely with legal and management teams on labour law matters.

4. HR Policies & Practices

• Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines.
• Drive employee awareness on HR policies and code of conduct.
• Ensure uniform application of HR practices across departments.
• Support policy revisions and process improvement initiatives.
• Address employee grievances and recommend corrective actions.

5. HR Operations

• Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and full & final settlements.
• Maintain HRMIS and employee records.
• Monitor attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, and shift scheduling.
• Ensure accurate HR documentation and employee database management.
• Generate periodic HR reports and dashboards for management review.

6. Talent Acquisition

• Handle recruitment activities for plant and support functions.
• Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Build a talent pipeline for critical and volume hiring requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, institutes, and recruitment partners.
• Ensure timely closure of vacancies as per business requirements.

7. Talent Management

• Support performance management processes and appraisal cycles.
• Identify training and development needs of employees.
• Coordinate employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.
• Facilitate career development and succession planning programs.
• Monitor employee productivity and development metrics.
