Job summary

PSP Projects Limited seeks an experienced Engineering Planning leader to oversee the Planning function for large-scale residential, commercial, township, and plotted development projects. You will drive detailed schedules, coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams, and ensure adherence to timelines and approved execution plans.

The role requires 18–22 years of experience in planning within construction, with strong command of Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• Lead the Engineering Planning function across multiple residential, commercial, township, and plotted development projects.
• Develop detailed project schedules covering engineering, design, procurement, construction, testing, and handover activities.
• Prepare and monitor master schedules, baseline schedules, micro-level schedules, milestone plans, and recovery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project, Construction, Design, MEP, Procurement, Contracts, QS, and other engineering teams to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, critical activities, dependencies, and bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Drive schedule adherence through regular review of site progress, engineering deliverables, material availability, contractor activities, and construction milestones.
• Work with project and site teams to develop mitigation and recovery plans for schedule deviations.
• Conduct periodic planning and progress review meetings with project teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare project MIS, progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Track key project milestones and provide visibility to senior management on status, risks, and delays.
• Ensure coordination between planning and execution teams to meet timelines and delivery targets.
• Establish and standardize planning processes, monitoring systems, reporting formats, and project controls across projects.
• Lead the preparation of detailed project schedules (Level 2/3) aligned with baselines and resource constraints.

Job Description –

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Planning leader to lead the Planning function for our projects. The role will be responsible for project planning, construction scheduling, engineering coordination, design interface, progress monitoring, resource planning, and ensuring projects remain aligned with approved timelines and execution plans.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in planning and execution of large-scale residential, commercial, township and plotted development projects, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing, engineering deliverables, and site execution.

• Review and validate site budgets, cost codes, BOQs, and work breakdown structures to ensure accurate allocation of costs and timely cost-to-complete projections.

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience in Engineering Planning / Project Planning within real estate or construction
• Proven experience handling planning for large-scale residential, commercial, township, and/or plotted development projects
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience with leading real estate developers or reputed construction/EPC organizations
• Experience in project recovery planning, delay analysis, and schedule optimization
• Strong understanding of engineering and construction interfaces from design stage through execution and handover
