Job summary

Kumar World in Pune seeks a Senior Project Planner to drive planning for residential and commercial developments. You will prepare baseline schedules in MSP, build WBS, and set milestones, ensuring alignment with objectives.

The role involves monitoring progress, coordinating with design, procurement, contracts, finance and sales, and delivering MIS reports and dashboards to management. A Civil Engineering degree and MSP/Primavera certification are preferred, with extensive planning experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Certification in Project Planning or Primavera/MSP will be an added advantage.
• 37 years of experience in project planning within the Real Estate / Construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baseline project schedules using MSP.
• Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), project timelines, and milestone plans.
• Create short-term and long-term execution plans aligned with project objectives.
• Track project progress against approved schedules.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, and critical path activities.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor productivity and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with Project, Design, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct periodic project review meetings and follow up on action items.
• Ensure timely flow of project-related information across departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project MIS reports.
• Develop dashboards highlighting project status, milestones, delays, and risks.
• Present project progress reports to senior management.
• Documentation: Maintain project planning records and documentation.
• Update schedules based on project progress and approved changes.
• Ensure proper version control of project plans and reports.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks that may impact timelines.
• Support mitigation planning and monitor implementation.
• Escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in improving planning systems, reporting formats, and project controls.
• Support implementation of best practices in project planning and monitoring.
