Job summary

Ayoki Fabricon is seeking an experienced AGM / DGM Projects (Civil) to lead and monitor cement plant civil initiatives across India and overseas. The role combines office-based oversight with field coordination to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in industrial civil construction, strong project management and vendor coordination skills, and a proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex EPC

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in cement plants, EPC or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong experience in industrial civil construction, foundations, RCC/structural works, and project execution.
• Experience in managing sub-contractors and coordinating with clients/consultants.
• Exposure to greenfield/brownfield cement projects and overseas projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor civil works for cement plant projects.
• Review civil/structural drawings, BOQs, specs and execution plans.
• Monitor progress, schedules, costs, quality and resources.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Contracts and Site teams.
• Manage coordination with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Provide technical guidance and support for resolving civil execution issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, quality standards, safety and codes.
• Identify risks, delays and cost overruns; initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in project reviews and monitor MIS.
• Visit project sites in India and overseas for reviews and support.
• Provide inputs for estimation, tendering and technical/commercial evaluation.

Travel: Travel to project sites in India and overseas as required

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM / DGM Projects (Civil) to manage and monitor civil project activities for cement plants in India and overseas. The position is primarily office-based, responsible for providing technical, planning, execution and coordination support to project/site teams and ensuring projects are completed within the planned time, cost, quality and safety parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor civil works for cement plant projects.
• Review civil/structural drawings, BOQs, specifications and project execution plans.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, costs, quality and resource deployment.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Contracts, Commercial and Site teams.
• Manage coordination with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors & other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support for resolving civil execution issues.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity and adherence to project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements and applicable codes.
• Identify project risks, delays and cost overruns and initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in project review meetings and prepare/monitor project MIS.
• Visit project sites in India and overseas as required for project reviews, troubleshooting and execution support.
• Provide inputs for estimation, tendering and technical/commercial evaluation of civil works when required.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in cement plants, EPC, heavy engineering or other industrial projects.
• Strong experience in industrial civil construction, equipment foundations, RCC/structural works and project execution.
• Experience in managing sub-contractors and coordinating with clients/consultants.
• Exposure to greenfield/brownfield cement projects and overseas projects will be an advantage.
