The Corporate Institute, Pune-based engineering manufacturing client, seeks an Assistant General Manager Accounts and Finance who is a CA with 8-12 years post-qualification to lead financial reporting and compliance.

The role requires deep knowledge of SEBI reporting, budgeting, audit leadership, tax and treasury; you will drive month-end closures, asset management, receivables, payables, and ensure accurate revenue recognition across domestic and international operations.

Qualifications

• CA with 8-12 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, statutory audits, taxation, and treasury functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodical financial reporting with knowledge of SEBI reporting.
• Lead management accounting and month-end closing activities.
• Oversee budgets and periodical monitoring.
• Lead statutory audits, tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and internal audits.
• Manage Income Tax and indirect tax compliances and filings.
• Oversee treasury activities including LC, bank compliance, and related reporting.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue recognition closures.
• Supervise receivables and lead Accounts Payable (Domestic & Import).
• Oversee Fixed Asset management, depreciation, verification and inventory control.

Our client is a reputed engineering manufacturing company, operating in Indian and International markets. Our client seeks Assistant General Manager Accounts and Finance to be based at Pune. The incumbent must be CA with 8-12 years of work experience post qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for periodical financial reporting, with sound knowledge of SEBI reporting.
• Management Accounting.
• Responsible for month closure activities.
• Preparation of budgets & periodical monitoring.
• Should be able to lead Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer pricing Audit, Internal audit.
• Income Tax compliances, including Transfer Pricing, should lead various tax return fillings.
• Indirect Tax compliances, should lead various tax return fillings and daily compliance monitoring.
• Sound knowledge of Foreign Trade Policies and Industrial Incentive Policies.
• Responsible for accurate monthly, quarterly & yearly closing procedures related to revenue recognition.
• Supervising overall receivables as per monthly target DSO KPI.
• Should be able to lead team of Accounts Payable (Domestic & Import) vertical.
• Responsible for Fixed Asset Management & Depreciation.
• Responsible for Fixed Asset Verification and Control.
• Responsible for Inventory Management, periodic verification.
• Sound knowledge in Treasury management covering areas like LC, BG, DP Statement, CMA and other Bank compliances.
• Through in Banking technology regarding payments, for e.g. HOST to HOST configuration.
• Should have fair knowledge of Insurance.
