The role involves RFQ analysis, cost optimization, and collaboration with Purchase, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure profitability. SAP FICO expertise is a must, with responsibility for cost audits and robust costing procedures.

• Excellent cost accounting and SAP FICO expertise.

Responsabilidades

• RFQ analysis and cost analysis across materials, overheads, and plant expenses.
• Identify reasons for over/under absorption and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on production performance vs plant expenses.
• Calculate and review cost of quality; implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Purchase and Engineering to improve product cost.
• Support Sales and Marketing to facilitate RFQs.
• Develop and strengthen cost controlling functions.
• Complete Cost Audit and support internal/statutory audits within deadlines.
• Interact with Plant on expenses, CAPEX, absorption, and sales orders profitability.
• SAP FICO expertise is essential.

Designation: AGM – COSTING

Location: Pune

Our client is a reputed engineering manufacturing company, operating in Indian and International markets. Our client seeks Assistant General Manager Costing to be based at Pune. The incumbent must be ICWAI with 8-15 years of work experience post qualification.

Purpose of the role: The purpose of the role is to lead Costing function effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• RFQ Analysis, Material Cost Analysis, MSR, Plant Expenses, Overhead analysis, Inventory Optimization, Sector wise Profitability, Standard Cost for popular pump models, AOP & LE preparation, SOPs or Guidelines for Costing Processes.
• Identifying the reasons for Over / Under absorption and submitting inputs to improve.
• Preparation of report on Production performance vis-a-vis Plant Expenses.
• Calculate & review Cost of Quality and taking measures to improve the same.
• To work jointly with Purchase and Engineering team to improve the product cost.
• Support to Sales & Marketing team to facilitate RFQs.
• Developing and strengthening cost controlling function.
• To complete the Cost Audit, support Internal Audit and Statutory Audit within defined time frame.
• Interaction with Plant on – Plant Expenses, CAPEX, Absorption, Sales Orders execution for desired profitability.
• Expertise on SAP FICO is Must.
