Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, hardworking, and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, auditing, and taxation matters. The role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The candidate must be able to work in an organized and systematic manner, adapt to a company culture that is both progressive and rooted in traditional values, and possess a strong understanding of the service industry.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• 2. Auditing: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Liaise with external auditors and manage the end-to-end audit process.
• 3. Taxation: Handle direct and indirect tax filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and minimize tax liabilities through effective planning.
• 4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
• 5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and SEBI regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
• 6. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization. Provide insights into financial performance and recommend improvements.
• 7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Mentor and guide junior team members in accounting and finance tasks.

Requirements

• 1. Mandatory Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is imperative. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), GST, and taxation laws.
• 2. Experience: Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, or finance roles. Prior experience in the service industry/ IT ITES or a similar sector is highly preferred.
• 3. Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
