Job summary

KSB is seeking a mechanical design engineer in Pune to develop 3D models and drawings for pump components using NX/UG, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.

You'll collaborate with SAP-based workflows, perform basic design calculations, and support fellow CAD engineers while maintaining product data and performance curves.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in 3D modelling and drafting for pump components.
• Solid knowledge of pump design and engineering practices.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Good planning, execution and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Make 3D models/assemblies and 2D drawings in UG/NX for pump components.
• Ensure completeness and correctness of models, drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials.
• Work with SAP for permit offers, quality notifications, MDR tickets, and drawing releases.
• Perform basic design calculations of pump parts.
• Provide guidance and assistance to other CAD engineers.
• Maintain and update product information (TSC; FK, TSB, curves).
• Work with Excel for calculations, databases, and performance curves.

Responsibilities

• Making 3D Models/Assembly and 2D drawings in UG / NX of the component as per guidelines. Pump & Motor Assembly in NX
• Ensuring completeness and correctness of models, drawings, assembly, Part list
• Working in SAP -Offer permit, Quality notifications, MDR tickets, Drawing release in SAP
• Perform Basic Design calculations of pump parts
• Guidance and assistance to other CAD engineers
• Maintain and update Product information- TSC; FK, TSB, Curves
• Working with excel file for- calculations, database, performance curves
