  • Proficiency in database design and management (e.g., SQL, Excel, or specialized asset management platforms).
  • Familiarity with technical documentation standards and engineering data formats.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable database schemas for plant and equipment specifications.
  • Collect, validate, and input mechanical specifications, vendor data, cost estimates, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and enforce standardized data templates, naming conventions, and documentation guidelines.
  • Manage a centralized knowledge repository for all Plant & Equipment research and documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, procurement specialists, and OEMs to resolve technical queries and source missing data.
  • Produce regular reports, comparative analyses, and executive summaries to support Global Supply Chain (GSC) and project teams.
  • Monitor and integrate industry standards, regulations, and best practices into documentation systems.
  • Support bidding and project start-up activities, including feasibility studies and procurement processes.
  • Ensure safety and environmental compliance is embedded in all Plant & Equipment documentation.
  • Recommend and document plant improvement strategies based on data insights and technical evaluations.

The Asset Management Specialist – Data Management will play a critical role in supporting the Asset management department by designing, maintaining, and optimizing data systems related to mechanical assets. This role ensures that technical data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with operational, procurement, and bidding activities. The specialist will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to manage a centralized repository of equipment specifications, performance metrics, and vendor information.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Data Management, Asset Management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment used in civil and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in database design and management (e.g., SQL, Excel, or specialized asset management platforms).
  • Familiarity with technical documentation standards and engineering data formats.
Minimum Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in asset or data management within a construction, engineering, or industrial environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations.
  • Exposure to bidding and project delivery phases is highly desirable..
