Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW)
• Understanding Plant breakdown structure and its use to configure an EDW
• Reference data library for engineering data and documentation
• Understanding engineering standards such as ECL (Equipment Class Library), DCL (Document Class Library), CFIHOS, etc.
• Knowledge of AVEVA AIM, AVEVA ISM and how it is set up in Digital Twin (e.g., EDMS–AVEVA connection, reporting tool configuration with AVEVA AIM)
• Information ingestion and extraction in AVEVA or other EDW tools
• Ensure ETL jobs are run as scheduled
• Maintain issue logs and compile delta reports for ETL gaps and discrepancies to EPCs, IM Leads, disciplines or business leads
• Run extracts from AVEVA for additional KPI/reporting requirements not covered by AVEVA AIM
• Prepare data extracts from EPCs, EDTs, and other systems to support and automate consistent loading into applications such as SAP, HSC, etc.
• Provide oversight of handover of latest drawings and compare with datasets delivered by projects and MOCs
• Recommend solutions for AVEVA AIM integrations with other projects, operations or maintenance software/systems
• Provide Tier 1 support and troubleshooting for AVEVA AIM, including PowerBI reporting, and escalates to IT or AVEVA AIM Product Owners/Consultants as needed
• Maintain, prioritize and respond to user feedback, change requests and enhancements
• Provide feedback on usability, features, performance, etc. to different business processes within the company
• Propose improvements to AIM SteerCo to improve navigation, searching, accessing asset information
• Previous work experience as an AutoCAD drafter and 3D modelling and must have P&ID drafting experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency)

• Knowledge of Document Management / Information Management (assets and project) systems
• Knowledge of MS Office package and EDMS systems
• Knowledge of SQL, SAP, WRENCH, PRIMAVERA is advantageous
• Knowledge of AVEVA AIM, Aconex and SharePoint
• Experience working with tools/software: AutoCAD, Plant 3D and SolidWorks

Desired Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas engineering projects with a minimum of 6–8 years in document control
• Experience in engineering business processes and risks/opportunities across the engineering life‑cycle
• Familiarity with IM data and document management work processes in projects and operations
• Understanding of industry standards and practices
• Knowledge of Aconex, EDT and AVEVA AIM load processes and tools (gateways)
• Experience in Oil & Gas
• 4–5 years experience with data control, engineering data warehouse on asset
• Experience in data analytics
• Understanding of database/data structures and methodologies
• Working experience with IM tools to support ETL (e.g., SQL, C++, APIs)
• Proficient in metrics reporting (e.g., PowerBI)
• Familiar with cross‑discipline engineering data terminology and requirements
• Ability to plan, implement, test, document and troubleshoot system integrations or upgrades
• Design experience in P&ID, isometric drafting and 3D plant modelling using Plant 3D, PDMS
