Job summary

Quest Global Bengaluru seeks an experienced asset data specialist to manage equipment master data for oil & gas and power sectors. You will review engineering drawings, maintain asset registers, and ensure data accuracy in SAP and CMMS systems.

The role requires 8+ years of domain experience, strong Excel skills (Power Query, macros), and the ability to collaborate with maintenance teams to standardize data and enable reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in asset registers for oil & gas and power industries.
• Review P&ID, SLDs and flow diagrams; extract equipment data.
• Vendor documents to extract equipment characteristics.
• Proficient in Excel advanced features and CMMS processes.
• Understand equipment relationships and data standardization.

Responsibilities

• Review, create and update equipment master information using engineering drawings.
• Compare hierarchy structures across systems to identify standardization opportunities.
• Execute gap analysis for equipment master information in ERP vs drawings.
• Identify opportunities to automate data analysis and validations.
• Assign equipment characteristics to complete SAP master data.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, create and Update Equipment master information by reviewing Various Engineering drawings
• Compare Hierarchy structure created in different System and Sub-system, identify opportunities for standardization
• Execute Gap analysis for equipment master information in existing ERP set up Vs Engineering drawings
• Identify opportunities to automate data analysis and validations
• Assign Equipment characteristics information to complete master data in SAP

Work Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of Experience in building asset registers for oil & gas and Power Industry
• Able to review P&ID, SLDs & Flow diagrams and other engineering drawings
• Detailed knowledge in vendor documents to extract equipment characteristics information
• knowledge in Oil & Gas Maintenance
• In-depth knowledge in Excel (power queries, advanced formulae, Macros)
• Through knowledge in CMMS process
• Detailed understanding about equipment relation ships
