Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile or related engineering.
• 1–6 years of experience in tractor attachment/manufacturing assembly.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, sub-assembly, fitment and shop-floor operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time assembly and dispatch of tractor attachments per daily plan.
• Manage assembly line manpower, absenteeism, workstation availability and bottlenecks.
• Adhere to SOP/FTG, assembly sequence, takt time and 5S; follow SAP/DF processes and safety norms.
• Monitor FTR, 100-hour complaints, process audit gaps and CAPA; drive improvements.
• Lead and train assembly operators; drive Kaizen and productivity improvements.

Position: Engineer-Assembly

Experience: 1 To 6 Years

Location: Coimbatore, Irugur.

Your Profile:

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related engineering with 1 To 6 years of experience in tractor attachment/manufacturing assembly.
• Hands-on experience in tractor attachment assembly, sub-assembly, fitment, and shop-floor production operations.
• Good knowledge of assembly processes, SOP/FTG, Takt Time, FTR, 5S, quality standards, and SAP/DF systems.
• Strong ability to handle manpower planning, production bottlenecks, quality issues, and day-plan achievement.
• Good skills in RCA, CAPA, Kaizen, safety practices, team handling, and production KPI monitoring.

Your Task:

• Ensure on-time assembly and dispatch of tractor attachments/RFD machines as per the daily production plan with minimum manpower and zero quality defects.
• Manage assembly line manpower, absenteeism, workstation availability, and bottlenecks to achieve daily production and dispatch targets.
• Ensure adherence to SOP, FTG, assembly sequence, Takt Time, SAP/DF processes, safety requirements, and 5S across workstations.
• Monitor FTR, 100-hour complaints, process audit gaps, RFD pending status, quality issues, and production performance, and drive effective CAPA.
• Lead and train assembly operators while driving Kaizen, process improvements, productivity improvement, and continuous improvement in the tractor attachment assembly area.
