Job summary

Bull Machines Pvt Ltd. in Coimbatore/Sulur invites applications for a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in Assembly Line. Fresh graduates with BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and 0–1 year experience are welcome to apply.

Candidate should understand SOP, SIR, takt time, 5S and Lean Manufacturing, with basic exposure to machine assembly, production processes and engineering drawings. Willingness to work on shop-floor and wear PPE is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 0–1 year of experience; freshers welcome.
• Basic knowledge of machine assembly, production processes, engineering drawings, tools, fixtures and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of SOP, SIR, quality standards, takt time, 5S, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute machine assembly activities as per SOP, SIR, assembly sequence, torque specs, quality standards and takt time.
• Verify availability and correctness of parts, tools, fixtures, gauges and work instructions before starting assembly.
• Perform self-inspection and First Time Right checks, identify defects and address quality or part-shortage issues.

Location: Coimbatore, Sulur.

Your Profile:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 0 To 1 year of experience, freshers are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of machine assembly, production processes, engineering drawings, tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of SOP, SIR, quality standards, takt time, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify assembly defects, part shortages, and process abnormalities.
• Willingness to work in a shop-floor/assembly-line environment, learn multiple assembly stages, and follow safety and PPE requirements.

Your Task:

• Execute assigned machine assembly activities as per SOP, SIR, assembly sequence, torque specifications, quality standards, and takt time.
• Verify the availability and correctness of parts, tools, fixtures, gauges, and work instructions before starting assembly.
• Perform self-inspection and First Time Right (FTR) checks, identify defects, and immediately expand quality abnormalities or part shortages.
• Complete Digital Factory/SAP stage confirmations accurately and on time after completion of physical assembly activities.
• Support 5S, Kaizen, 5-Why, CAPA, line balancing, and continuous improvement activities while developing multi-skill capability across assembly stations.
