ASPICE Process Engineer – Automotive

Job summary

Tata Technologies seeks an experienced ASPICE Process Engineer to drive process deployment across automotive programs. You will perform gap analyses, define improvement roadmaps, and conduct internal ASPICE assessments of SYS, SWE and SUP processes while supporting audits by customers and third parties.

Additionally, you will tailor processes for OEM/Tier-1 environments, manage stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers. Exposure to ISO 26262 and other automotive quality standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven track record deploying ASPICE processes in automotive programs.
• Hands-on ASPICE assessments across SYS, SWE and SUP domains.
• Experience tailoring processes for OEM and Tier-1 environments.
• Ability to map compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and audit coordination skills.
• Exposure to ISO 26262 and other automotive quality systems.
• Preferred: ASPICE Provisional/Competent Assessor certification.

• Plan and conduct internal ASPICE assessments covering SYS, SWE, and SUP processes.
• Support customer and third-party ASPICE assessments and audits.
• Guide project teams on process tailoring and compliance strategies.
• Drive non-conformance analysis and corrective action closure.
• Maintain and improve process frameworks, templates, and guidelines.
• Report process maturity, compliance status, and risks to management.
• Mentor junior process engineers and quality team members.
• Support alignment with ISO 26262, ISO 9001, and other automotive quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) v3.x.
• Hands-on experience with SYS, SWE, and SUP process assessments.
• Deep understanding of V-Cycle development methodology and compliance mapping.
• Experience in process tailoring for OEM and Tier-1 environments.
• Ability to analyze assessment findings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and audit coordination skills.
