Job summary

Agile Technology in Pune is seeking a Software Product Assurance Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to lead software verification across the SDLC and AUTOSAR/ASPICE domains. The role encompasses designing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, and collaborating with RD, Quality and NPC teams to resolve issues.

The candidate should drive DFMEA/FMEA/PFMEA activities and contribute to product feasibility and internal audits, ensuring production readiness and robust safety

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking with programming and testing skills.
• Proficiency in Python, C, CAPL and Java.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, VFLASH, NXP FreeMASTER and Tera Term.

Responsibilities

• In-depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and ASPICE SWE.1–SWE.6 and related activities.
• Design, develop and verify software for new hardware platforms.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for DV/PV testing.
• Efficient bug management: identify, isolate, document defects and re-test after fixes.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing across multiple environments, platforms and devices.
• Participate in DFMEA, FMEA, PFMEA and root-cause analysis for field issues with RD/Quality/NPC teams.
• Contribute to Product Cost Optimization and value engineering to improve Gross contribution.
• Participate in product feasibility studies and internal Engineering Audits.
• Ensure production volume targets are met and perform RCA with RD team.
• Perform vehicle-level tests after product integration into target vehicles.
• Engage in safety reviews including HARA, FSR, FSC, TSR/TSC, SSR, HSR.

Position Title : Software Product Assurance Engineer

Experience Range : 5-10 Years

Roles and Responsibilities

In depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and ASPICE i.e. SWE.1(Software requirement analysis ),SWE.2(Software Architectural Design,SWE.3(Software Detailed Design and Construction),SWE.4(Software Unit Verification),SWE.5(Software Integration and Integration Test),SWE.6(Software Qualification Test)

Ability to design and develop and verify Software for new hardware platform

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for DV ,PV Test

Efficient Bug Management i.e. Identify, isolate, and document software defects using bug-tracking systems, and re-test once fixes are applied.

Conduct both manual and automated testing across multiple environments, platforms, and devices.

Participate actively in DFMEA,FMEA,PFMEA

Contribute in Root cause analysis for customer reported field issues. Ordinate with RD Team,Quality team,NPC Team for issue resolution/closure

Participate and contribute in Value add and Value Engineering(Product Cost Optimization,increase Gross contribution(GC) of product)

Participate in Product feasibility study

Participate in internal Engineering Audit

Ensure the production volume is met for finished good at Production line. Troubleshoot the failure report for not good parts and perform RCA in collaboration with RD Team.

Perform vehicle level test after product integration into target vehicles.

Attend and contribute in HARA, Functional safety requirement(FSR), Functional safety concept(FSC),Technical safety requirement(TSR), Technical safety concept(TSC), Software Safety Requirement(SSR), Hardware Safety Requirement(HSR) review

Skills required :

Strong analytical thinking with technical programming and testing skills

Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages like Python, C, CAPL,Java

Good working exposure to vector tools i.e. CANoe,CANalyzer,VFLASH,NXP FreeMASTER,Tera Term

Good understanding of CI/CD Cloud Tools i.e. Understanding of continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and testing within cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure)

Good understanding of CAN,CAN FD,UART,SPI

Preferred to have understanding of Functional safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity Concepts(ISO 21434)

Good understanding of End of Line programming and Calibration

Good hand on exposure to Software Debugging and Software bug management

Well versed with ASPICE,QMS,IATF Processes

Understanding of test requirements and coverage for wireless chargers.,USB Chargers, Telematics
