Job summary

Fuji Silvertech in India is seeking an Area Officer to promote precast concrete products and develop business in the Gujarat region (Vapi). You will conduct site visits, identify opportunities, and convert enquiries into orders while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project owners.

The role requires travel within the territory, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to prepare reports on activity and targets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to identify new business opportunities.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable precast products.
• Generate enquiries, prepare sales leads, and convert them into orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Track ongoing infrastructure projects related to roads, railways, and industrial works.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and payments.
• Monitor competitors and market trends in the territory.
• Prepare daily visit reports and monthly business development reports.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to growth.

Job Summary:

The Area Officer is responsible for promoting the company's precast concrete products, developing business opportunities, conducting regular site visits, building strong customer relationships, and generating sales within the assigned territory. The role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, project owners, government departments, and infrastructure developers to identify project requirements and convert opportunities into orders.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable precast products.
• Generate enquiries, prepare sales leads, and convert them into confirmed orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Track ongoing infrastructure projects related to roads, railways, highways, industrial developments, and other civil works.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and payment collections.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the assigned territory.
• Prepare daily visit reports, and monthly business development reports.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Civil Engineering, construction management, Business Administration, or related field (technical background preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in technical support, site engineering, project execution, or installation support, preferably in the precast concrete, construction materials, or infrastructure industry.
• Experience in sales or business development, preferably in: Precast concrete products, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC), Pre Engineer Building (PEB), Cement, Building materials, Infrastructure or construction industry.
