Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of pet food sales experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a track record of achieving targets. MBA preferred; graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sales experience in Pet Food industry mandatory.
• Strong distributor management and market expansion experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.
• Develop and manage distributor network in Mangalore and nearby regions.
• Appoint new distributors / dealers where required.
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Build strong relationships with pet shops, veterinary clinics, modern trade, and key accounts.
• Implement trade schemes, promotions, and branding initiatives.
• Monitor stock availability, ensure timely replenishment, and control market returns.
• Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis.
• Lead, guide, and motivate sales representatives (if applicable).
