Job summary

1Cell.Ai Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive our oncogenomics business across the Kolkata and East market. You will engage directly with oncologists, hospitals and cancer centers to expand adoption of genomic tests and grow territory revenue.

This role is an individual contributor position requiring strong scientific conversations, proven sales results in specialty diagnostics, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of specialty sales experience in oncogenomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision oncology testing.
• Existing relationships with oncologists, onco-physicians, onco-surgeons, or hemato-oncologists in Kolkata & East preferred.
• Knowledge of genomic testing concepts (NGS, PCR-based panels, liquid biopsy) for clinician discussions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a specialty/clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of oncogenomics/molecular oncology tests within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, hemato-oncologists, pathologists, and cancer centers.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and territory growth objectives.
• Conduct scientific detailing on genomic testing with treating physicians.
• Coordinate with sample logistics, CX, and lab operations for order-to-report turnaround.
• Track competitor activity and physician feedback; report to management.
• Represent the company at oncology conferences, tumor boards, and CME events.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive our oncogenomics business across the Kolkata & East market. This is an individual contributor role focused on direct engagement with oncologists, oncosurgeons, hospitals - driving adoption of genomic/molecular oncology tests (e.g., companion diagnostics, biomarker testing, liquid biopsy, tumor profiling) and growing territory revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of oncogenomics/molecular oncology tests within the assigned territory
• Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, hemato-oncologists, pathologists, and cancer centers
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and territory growth objectives
• Conduct scientific detailing on genomic testing (biomarkers, mutation panels, liquid biopsy) with treating physicians
• Coordinate with sample logistics, CX, and lab operations teams for smooth order-to-report turnaround
• Track competitor activity, emerging biomarker trends, and physician feedback; report regularly to management
• Represent the company at oncology conferences, tumor boards, and CME events

Requirements

• [3-6]+ years of specialty sales experience in oncogenomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision oncology testing
• Existing relationships with oncologists/onco-physicians / onco surgeons / hemato-oncologists in Kolkata & East strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of genomic/biomarker testing concepts (NGS, PCR-based panels, liquid biopsy) - ability to hold scientific conversations with clinicians
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a specialty/clinical selling environment
• Willingness to travel within the territory for clinicans visits
• Bachelor's degree required; science/pharmacy/life sciences background preferred (biotechnology/genetics background a plus)
