Job summary

Paytm in India is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead a sales team across Haryana and surrounding regions. The role focuses on merchant onboarding, QR code activation, and acquiring services to drive revenue growth in the BFSI fintech space.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of experience in area sales management, a strong grasp of merchant acquiring processes, and a proven record of meeting revenue targets through effective team leadership and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in area sales management or similar role in BFSI industry.
• Strong understanding of Merchant Acquiring & Onboarding processes.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets through effective team handling and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets through effective merchant onboarding, QR code activation, and acquiring services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants across various industries (Retail, Hospitality, FMCG etc.) to drive business growth.
• Identify new opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Fintech products such as Payment Gateway Solutions, Card Payment Machines, Mobile Wallet Integration etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues related to payment processing systems and provide exceptional after-sales support.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the competitive fintech landscape.
