Role Description

The Area Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for overseeing security and facility operations across assigned locations. This role includes supervising security staff and housekeeping teams, ensuring that post duties, patrols, and maintenance activities are carried out according to company standards and client requirements. The Area Officer conducts regular site inspections, prepares reports, addresses incidents, and coordinates with client representatives to resolve issues promptly. Daily tasks also involve scheduling and deployment of personnel, monitoring attendance and discipline, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. The role requires close collaboration with internal management to improve service quality, implement corrective actions, and support training and performance reviews for site staff.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and team management skills, with experience leading security or facility management staff across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of security operations, access control procedures, incident response, and basic safety and emergency protocols.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, prepare clear reports, and maintain accurate records related to staffing, incidents, and daily operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and personnel at all levels.
• Sound decision‑making, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution abilities, especially in time‑sensitive or high‑pressure situations.
• Comfort with on‑site field work, including regular travel between locations within Thane and nearby areas as required.
• Prior experience in security services, facility management, or related industries is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a higher qualification in security management, facilities management, or a related field is an advantage.
