Job summary

Amazon is seeking Inbound Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). You will lead teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity while meeting daily objectives.

Direct management experience is required; knowledge of performance metrics, lean techniques, and process improvements will help drive efficiency across shifts. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required to apply.

• Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
