Job summary

Amazon in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking an Inbound Area Manager for our Fulfillment Centers. You’ll focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity, driving performance across shifts and coordinating with other Area Managers.

You will review forecasts, optimize labor, support OSHA compliance, and lead Lean process improvements to deliver world-class results for Amazonians and customers in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Direct management experience for employees and their performance.

Responsibilities

• Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor for a balanced and efficient shift.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.

• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
