Responsibilities

• Monitor local market trends and feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Report sales, footfall, inventory and activation outcomes to senior management.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to drive retail store operations and sales performance across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate brings hands-on retail store exposure, a strong sales orientation, and the ability to manage indenting and on-ground promotional activity, including activations at residential societies and apartment complexes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own sales targets and overall business performance for retail stores within the assigned area (Hyderabad or Bangalore).
• Manage day-to-day retail store operations, ensuring standards of merchandising, service, and store hygiene are maintained.
• Plan and manage indenting — forecasting stock requirements and coordinating timely replenishment with supply chain/warehouse teams to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Plan, drive, and review on-ground promotional and sales activities at apartment complexes / residential societies (RWA activations) to build local demand and brand visibility.
• Recruit, train, and manage store-level staff and ensure adherence to company processes and SOPs.
• Track competition, local market trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Report regularly on sales, footfall, inventory, and activation outcomes to senior management.
• Ensuring timely E commerce deliveries / dispatches.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in retail store operations and sales, preferably in organized retail, FMCG, or D2C/quick-commerce environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing indenting/inventory planning for stores.
• Proven track record of running ground-level promotional or activation campaigns, ideally including society/apartment activities.
• Strong people management and multi-store/multi-team handling experience.
• Willingness to travel within the city/region as required.
