Job summary

ASSPL - Haryana - C77 in India seeks an Area Manager for its Fulfillment Centers to lead safety, quality and productivity across the operation. You will oversee a team of warehouse associates, ensuring trained staff and addressing development needs while meeting daily targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive labor balancing, uphold OSHA safety standards, and lead Lean-driven process improvements to optimize throughput and customer satisfaction at scale in the Gurugram region.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Review forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and run efficient shifts.
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.

Key job responsibilities

Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department.

• Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.

Supervisory Responsibilities

You and your team of warehouse associates are responsible for getting Amazon customers their orders. You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
