Job summary

ASSPL Maharashtra is seeking an Inbound Area Manager for our Fulfillment Centers to drive safety, quality, customer experience and productivity on a fast-paced-shift basis.

You will review forecasts, balance labor with peers, support safety programs, and lead Lean process improvements while ensuring OSHA compliance. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of metrics or Lean experience, with weekend/overnight flexibility, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and/or nights.

Key job responsibilities

• Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools

Other Requirements

• Direct management experience for employees and their performance
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who)
• Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
