Job summary

Sobha Limited, one of India's leading and only backward-integrated real estate developers, is looking for an experienced Architect – Design Development & Coordination to join our Corporate Design team.

The role focuses on developing and refining architectural concepts for large-scale residential projects, coordinating with Structural, MEP, HVAC, Landscape, Interior and other consultants, and mentoring associate architects to ensure timely presentation and GFC drawings while maintaining design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural design and coordination software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural design concepts for large-scale residential projects.
• Support the Team Lead in preparing concept design options and incorporating management feedback.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, HVAC, Landscape, Interior and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage and mentor associate architects while ensuring timely delivery of presentation, approval and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Conduct regular site visits to review construction progress, resolve design-related issues and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Drive the adoption of new design technologies and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Coordinate with liaison consultants, architects and statutory authorities to obtain required project approvals.
• Represent the organization before regulatory authorities, including MOEF/SEAC, for statutory clearances.
• Review and validate sanction drawings before submission.
• Review area statements, sale drawings and agreement drawings with reference to approved plans.
• Review and approve GFC drawings across all disciplines, including: Architecture, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing (PHE), Fire Fighting & Fire Protection, HVAC, Landscape, Interiors, Vendor Drawings
• Ensure timely issuance of drawings to internal stakeholders and project sites.
• Maintain complete project documentation in compliance with ISO standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience in the design and coordination of large-scale, high-rise residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, statutory approval processes and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects within defined timelines.
