Job summary

Fujitsu in Pune is seeking a seasoned Apps Lead Architect to drive end-to-end solution design for large, complex deals. You will shape architectural strategies, lead presales activities, and coordinate multi-tower delivery while ensuring governance and cost alignment with the bid strategy.

The role requires deep knowledge of architecture frameworks and experience with ServiceNow, SAP, ADMS or DX across global customers. Relocation support is available; visa sponsorship is not required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of corporate experience with strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience in solutioning for application services in bids, RFPs and proactive opportunities.
• Proven ability to shape and deliver large, complex multi-tower deals with architectural strategies.
• Lead bid assurance and solution reviews, ensuring governance and quality deliverables.
• Experience with ServiceNow, SAP, ADMS or DX; expertise in at least two.

Responsibilities

• Define major technical solution initiatives influencing investment decisions and direction.
• Develop solution strategies, architectures, and proposals aligned to customer requirements.
• Create end-to-end customer solutions and manage design governance and risk.
• Oversee solution costing with Financial Architect, aligning pricing with governance.
• Lead bid assurance and solution review forums and present proposed solutions to stakeholders.
• Work on global setups and for global customers.

• 15+ years of overall experience in a corporate environment, with strong technical, analytical, and solutioning capabilities.
• Experience in solutioning for Application services in bids, RFPs, and proactive opportunities.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of established architecture frameworks, with proven experience in shaping and delivering large, strategic, and complex multi-tower deals, including solution development, win theme articulation, techno-commercial propositioning, presales engagement, and thought leadership.
• Key responsibilities of the Apps Lead Architect include:
  • Define major technical solution initiatives for customers or Fujitsu, influencing investment decisions and solution direction.
  • Develop solution strategies, architectures, and proposals aligned to customer requirements and business outcomes.
  • Development of an integrated end-to-end customer solution.
  • Manage complex solution strategy and design activities, including approach definition, design governance, strategic risk identification, and mitigation planning.
  • Define solution tenets, key messages, and solution themes that support the overall win strategy.
  • Experienced in working with diverse team of architects and responsible for quality of deliverables
  • Understanding of ServiceNow, SAP, ADMS, DX and proven and demonstrated expertise in atleast 2 of the above service areas and technologies
• Provide presales consulting support, including current delivery cost assessment, solution model options, benefits analysis, and input into early customer engagements.
• Demonstrated experience working on large and complex deals.
• Create a high-level solution blueprint that identifies key solution elements, operating model, delivery approach, and differentiators.
• Apply knowledge of latest technologies, service offerings, market trends, skills, and delivery experience to design compelling and competitive solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand business strategy and develop IT strategies and architectures for significant areas of their business.
• Ensure solution compliance by providing guidance and oversight to solution teams, enabling the development of deliverable, optimised, best-practice-aligned designs that are competitively differentiated.
• Responsible for end-to-end applications solutions across the design lifecycle, including shaping, construction, review, and formal management.
• Contribute to the development of proposal deliverables, including ownership of the solution overview and assigned response sections, while providing guidance and direction to contributing stakeholders.
• Own the overall solution costing approach in close collaboration with the Financial Architect, ensuring that cost assumptions, pricing inputs, and commercial considerations are accurately reflected and translated into the customer price book in alignment with the proposed solution, bid strategy, and governance requirements.
• Experienced in Leading bid assurance and solution review forums, presenting and substantiating the proposed solution while ensuring alignment with organisational governance standards, compliance requirements, and formal approval processes.
• Demonstrated experience of working on global setup and global customers.
