Job summary
S&P Global Ahmedabad, India invites applicants for its Apprentice, Data Operations program. The role focuses on collecting data from multiple sources to create high-quality datasets for research reports and publications.
You will monitor global industry publications and corroborate data with internal tools, learning in a structured apprenticeship. The program offers on-the-job training, exposure to global teams, and a pathway to professional growth in enterprise data.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates with a commerce background (BBA/BMS/BCom) or PGDM/MBA in Finance.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24x5, including night shifts).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting.
- Proficiency in MS-office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Adaptability to work across all time-zones.
Responsibilities
- High quality data (Financial) collection, analysis, extraction and entering the data in work tools as per guideline specifications for assigned vertical.
- Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have strong working knowledge of work tools.
- Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
- Troubleshoots problems or issues and support team in enhancing the workflow/processes for department.
- Timely response to mails from coworkers and managers. Be proactive and demonstrates aptitude for new learnings.

- S&P Global is looking to hire young fresh graduates and postgraduates for a 12-month apprenticeship program.
- Candidates must not be already registered on the NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal as apprentices
- Candidates should not have an active UAN/PF account
- High quality data (Financial) collection, analysis, extraction and entering the data in work tools as per guideline specifications for assigned vertical.
- Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have strong working knowledge of work tools.

- Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shift basis the business requirement (24x5 environment with rotational shifts, including night shift )
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and accountancy, including financial statements and annual reports
- Adaptability to work across all time-zones.
- Proficiency in MS-office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
