Job summary

Valuelabs in Hyderabad is hiring an Application Support Engineer to join our ITES team. You will be responsible for user creation, permissions, and basic login training while supporting end users and maintaining wiki guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in application support, strong communication skills, and the ability to draft and deliver client reports. You should be proficient with MS Office and have basic SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Application Support or ITES.
• Ability to Understand and frame basic SQL queries
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability for Customer Service

Role & responsibilities

Managing user creation and permissions In conjunction with the Department Head, scope all user permissions Manage wiki / Confluence guidelines on user creation and subsequent updates Create new users and administer basic login/ navigational training

Preferred candidate profile

• – Gathering and investigating issues, escalating to the appropriate channels when necessary – Setting and managing product support tickets – Acting as 1st Line Support for incidents escalated from other support teams Reporting – In conjunction with the Department Head, scope all reporting requirements – Build, test and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual reports to the client’s specifications Technical Skills and Experience: • 3-4 years of experience in Application Support or ITES. • Experience in usage of MS Office tools • Ability to Understand and frame basic SQL queries • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Demonstrated ability for Customer Service .
