Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Control-M scheduling.

• Experience with Murex or other Capital Markets applications.
• Experience providing L2/L3 application/environment support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot Control-M scheduling and batch job issues across environments.
• Support deployment and management of batch jobs, workflows, and scheduling processes.
• Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation and data processing.
• Perform SQL queries, optimization, performance tuning, and data validation.
• Troubleshoot batch processing, system integrations, and environment problems.
• Provide L2/L3 support for batch failures and performance issues.
• Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to investigate incidents and fixes.
• Tackle Control-M dependencies, failure scenarios, logs, and promotion rules.

About the Role

We are looking for a Support Specialist to support the operational stability of non-production applications and environments within Capital Markets.

The role will focus on Control-M scheduling, Linux shell scripting, batch job support, SQL/database troubleshooting, application integration, and environment support, with a strong focus on Murex and Capital Markets applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Control-M scheduling and batch job issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support deployment and management of batch jobs, workflows, and automated scheduling processes.
• Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation, data processing, and system administration.
• Perform database support activities including SQL queries, query optimization, performance tuning, and data validation.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues, system integrations, and application/environment problems.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for batch failures and system performance issues.
• Work closely with Development and Operations teams to investigate incidents and implement fixes.
• Troubleshoot Control-M job dependencies, failure scenarios, logs, and promotion rules.

Must-Have Skills - Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Control-M job scheduling and batch processing.
• Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting skills, including complex automation scripts.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with SQL query writing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting batch jobs, workflows, and system integrations.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Murex or other Capital Markets applications.
