Job summary

StoneX Group Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to provide Tier 2 production and non-production support for business-critical trading and enterprise applications across StoneX.

The role focuses on incident management, application monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of support processes. You will act as SME for applications such as Murex or TwoFour, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, manage tickets and SLAs, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• 3-5 years of overall IT experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in: Application Support, Incident Management, Production Support, Runbooks/Operational Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for third-party and internally developed applications.
• Act as SME for one or more applications such as Murex, TwoFour, or other trading platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production and non-production application issues.
• Support incident management activities and ensure timely resolution during production outages.
• Manage support tickets and service requests while meeting SLAs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, support documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in technical projects while maintaining daily operational responsibilities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Provide technical guidance and escalation support to junior team members.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Job purpose:

The Application Engineer is responsible for providing Tier 2 production and non-production support for business-critical trading and enterprise applications across StoneX business units. The role focuses on incident management, application monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, customer support, and continuous improvement of application support processes.

• Provide Tier 2 support for third-party and internally developed applications.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more applications such as Murex, TwoFour, or other trading platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production and non-production application issues.
• Support incident management activities and ensure timely resolution during production outages.
• Manage support tickets and service requests while meeting agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, support documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications
