Job summary

Capco is seeking a Murex Production Support/DevOps Engineer to join our Bengaluru operations with bi‑weekly rotation across Asia, UK and US shifts. The role requires 1–3 years of experience, hands‑on UNIX/SQL/Shell scripting, and expertise in CI/CD, with strong ITIL knowledge and release management.

You will manage end‑to‑end environments, create new environments on-demand, and support data applications in production and non‑production EOD processing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience; Murex support/DevOps with DevOps practices and CI/CD expertise.
• Hands‑on experience on UNIX, SQL, Shell Scripting; knowledge of Crontab, Control-M, UC4.
• End to end environment management and configuration experience.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support for in-scope data applications.
• Ability to create new environments on-demand from scratch.
• Release management with SVN, Nexus, ANT, Jenkins, GIT.
• Datamart configurations and EOD processing scripts.
• Set up Failover/DR for database and infrastructure monitoring.
• SME level knowledge resolving user issues; work with onshore team.
• ITIL incident/problem/change/event management.

• Work with onshore support team to manage batch support of jobs
• Production and non-production EOD processing / environment support and monitoring
• Understanding of derivatives, including credit and rates products, with DevOps exposure

Shift Time:

24*7 Rotational Shifts (Asia, UK and US) on a bi-weekly rotation basis

Overview

Experience: 1 to 3 years. Skilled Murex Support / DevOps Engineer with mandatory expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD. Responsible for Murex support, automation, and managing deployment pipelines while ensuring system stability and continuous improvement using modern DevOps and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience on UNIX, SQL, Shell Scripting, and knowledge on Crontab, Control-M, and UC4
• End to end environment management and configuration experience
• Provide Level 2/3 application production support for in scope data related applications
• Ability to create new environments on-demand from scratch
• Release management – Exposure to various tools such as SVN, Nexus, ANT, Jenkins, GIT etc
• Datamart configurations and processing scripts configuration for EOD process
• Set up of Failover / DR for database and application and infrastructure monitoring
• Independent work on Murex projects along with key client stakeholders
