Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 5–10 years of experience in application support.
• Experience in manufacturing sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for business applications, CRM, DMS, portals and related systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.

• Coordinate with development, infra, users, and vendors for resolution.

Job Description:

• Provide Level 1 support for business applications, CRM, DMS, portals, and related systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, service requests, and user queries within agreed SLA timelines.
• Monitor application uptime, performance, scheduled jobs, integrations, and critical business processes.
• Coordinate with development teams, infrastructure teams, business users, and vendors for issue resolution.
• Maintain proper incident logs, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure documentation.
• Support application deployments, change requests, patches, and release management activities.

Additional Skills - Power BI & Analytics

• Gather reporting requirements from departments and convert requirements into meaningful dashboards and KPIs.
• Support users in report usage, dashboard navigation, data interpretation, and self-service BI adoption.

2. User Support, Training & Documentation

• Provide functional and technical support to end users across departments.
• Prepare user manuals, SOPs, issue resolution notes, test cases, and training documents.
• Support UAT activities, collect user feedback, and coordinate closure of observations before production rollout.
• Train users on above mentioned applications.
• Communicate issue status, workaround, permanent solution, and closure confirmation to stakeholders.

3. Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure application access, permissions, and report sharing are aligned with IT security policies.
• Maintain change management records, approval details, application inventory, and report documentation.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to applications, reports, user access, and data controls.
• Ensure data governance practices are followed for business-critical reports and confidential information.
• Review user access periodically and coordinate role-based access changes as per approval process.

4. Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management

• Identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions to reduce support tickets.
• Drive process improvement, Usage adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with all Business Units/Plants, and other enabling functions.
• Coordinate with implementation partners and external vendors for enhancements, issue fixes, and technical support.
• Provide periodic status updates, issue dashboards, and analytics insights to management.
