Job summary

Beckhoff Automation - INDIA is seeking an Application Engineer at our Noida office to develop machine programs per customer specifications and provide standard and custom training on Beckhoff products.

You will document all project activities, maintain strong technical knowledge, and advise customers on technology selection, usage, maintenance and training for specific applications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (E&TC, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, E&E) required.
• 3–6 years of work experience.
• Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages, including OO extensions.
• Understanding of PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT) and HMI technologies.
• Previous Beckhoff Automation experience and/or technical training preferred.
• Visual Studio and/or OO programming in automation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English.

We are a representative office in Noida, India, and we are actively expanding our team and looking for a suitable application engineer.

Responsibilities

• develop machine programs according to customer specifications
• offering standard and custom training to support Beckhoff products and projects
• documentation and recording of all project activities
• maintain a high degree of relevant technical knowledge to fulfil the listed job responsibilities
• advise customers on proper technology selection, use, maintenance, and training for specific applications

Qualifications

• bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology (E&TC, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, E&E)
• 3 to 6 years of work experience
• experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages, including (object-oriented extensions)
• understanding of PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT) and HMI technologies.
• previous technical training and / or Beckhoff Automation experience
• visual Studio and/or object-oriented programming (OOP) in automation
• strong analytical and reasoning skills to collaborate in a fast-paced, action-oriented team
• excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to customers, companywide, and/or departmental meetings in English
