Job summary

Bachmann electronic GmbH in Gurugram invites an experienced CMS engineer to drive growth of its Condition Monitoring business in India. You will understand customer needs, design CMS solutions, support installations, and provide post-implementation support.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 5 years in CMS systems, preferably in wind energy; you will train customers, collaborate with Austria HQ, and travel extensively across India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the use and installation of CMS systems.
• Experience in wind energy CMS is advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding of condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and data analytics.
• Willingness to travel extensively within India.
• Self-driven, customer-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical pre-sales support: Understand customer requirements, conduct technical discussions, deliver product presentations and demonstrations, and support the sales team in developing CMS opportunities.
• Solution design: Develop technical concepts and solution specifications for CMS implementation and efficient data acquisition in collaboration with internal and external experts.
• Implementation and commissioning: Support system installation, configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure successful deployment of Bachmann CMS solutions.
• Post-sales technical support: Provide ongoing customer support, diagnose technical issues, assist with vibration and condition-monitoring data interpretation, and support customers in optimising system performance and reliability.
• Customer training and business development: Train customers on the Bachmann CMS-Suite, maintain strong technical relationships with customers, wind turbine OEMs and wind farm operators, and support the sales team through customer visits, trade fairs and technical presentations.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in the use and installation of CMS systems
• Experience in using CMS systems in the wind energy sector would be an advantage
• Strong technical understanding of condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and data analytics
• Experience in network technology, control cabinet construction and knowledge of PLC applications
• Self-driven, customer-oriented professional with strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within India
