Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai, is seeking a Senior Architect to lead and support modern workplace solutions across infrastructure, end-user devices, security, and collaboration apps. You will coordinate with regional teams and Head Office stakeholders, driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with standards.

The role requires 8+ years of IT experience, with deep expertise in Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and DevOps, and experience in managing end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience in IT/related field.
• Experience with API setup on Azure API Management.
• Experience of working with Azure function apps and Logic Apps.
• Integration workflow development using Logic Apps or GoAnywhere MFT.

Responsibilities

• Architect and support ongoing projects for modern workplace solutions across infrastructure, endpoints, security, and collaboration apps.
• Provide expertise to regional teams and collaborate with Japan head office stakeholders.
• Lead architectural design sessions, workshops, and end-to-end solution designs.
• Prepare and present regular project reports and documentation; ensure timely communication of status to stakeholders and IT teams.
• Act as liaison between end users and IT teams to understand business requirements and implement new solutions or enhancements.
• Liaise with enterprise architecture to ensure alignment of platform architecture, standards, and processes.

Job description

• Architecting and supporting on-going projects for modern workplace solutions spanning from infrastructure, end user devices, security, and collaboration applications.
• Provide expertise to regional teams and collaborate with Japan head office stakeholders.
• Risk and Control
• Provide timely escalation and resolution of major issues to Management and Head Office teams.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement
• Should have good attitude to work in teams
• Act as liaison between end users and IT team to understand business requirements for end-user services, design and implement new solution or enhancements.
• Liaise with enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment of all platform architecture processes, standards.
• Projects & Other Responsibilities
• Prepare and present regular project reports and documentations.
• Ensure project status and progress are communicated to stakeholders and IT teams in a timely and concise manner.

Qualification, Experience, Companies and Attributes

Qualifications and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent with min. 8 years of experience

Work or Professional Experience

• API setup on Azure API Management
• Experience of working on Azure function apps and logic apps
• Integration workflow development using Logic app or Goanywhere MFT platform
• Ability to explore other Azure services and technology

Functional or Technical Competencies#

• Taking leadership during architectural design sessions, workshops, implementation reviews and end-to-end solution designs
