Job summary

Cognizant in Chennai is seeking an experienced Azure Integration Architect to design and develop serverless and integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions. You will architect end-to-end Azure-based solutions aligned with enterprise standards, security, and scalability, and build event-driven and API-based integrations across Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.

You will collaborate with solution architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop serverless and integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Architect end-to-end Azure-based solutions aligned with enterprise standards, security, and scalability requirements.
• Build and maintain event-driven and API-based integrations across Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
• Implement workflows for automation, orchestration, and system integration with internal and external platforms.
• Ensure secure authentication and authorization using Entra ID (Azure AD), Managed Identities, and OAuth.
• Collaborate with solution architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Apply best practices for performance, resiliency, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and environment management.
• Provide technical documentation, design artifacts, and knowledge transfer.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services, integrations, and runtime failures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Solid understanding of Azure integration services, REST APIs, JSON, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Azure core services such as App Service, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Key Vault.
• Knowledge of Azure security and identity (Entra ID, Managed Identities, RBAC).
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) is desirable.
• Proficiency in one or more languages such as C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
