Job summary

Erbity in Maharashtra, India is seeking engineers to work deeply inside the Android OS, across the Framework, System Services, and HAL. You will build and tailor AOSP components, debug platform issues, and help ensure CTS/VTS validation passes while configuring policy and board settings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with platform, BSP, and product teams to deliver production-ready Android systems on embedded devices. Prior automotive infotainment exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Android Framework (AOSP) experience of 3–8 years.
• In-depth understanding of Android Framework architecture and HAL.
• Independent debugging of complex platform-level issues.
• Experience with CTS/VTS validation and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Android SEPolicy and Board Configuration.
• Strong Java coding; C/C++ knowledge is a plus.
• Automotive Infotainment experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Requirements

You're the Right Fit If You

• Have 3-8 years of hands-on Android Framework (AOSP) experience.
• Understand Android Framework architecture and HAL in depth.
• Can independently debug complex platform-level issues.
• Have worked on CTS/VTS validation and issue resolution.
• Are comfortable with Android SEPolicy and Board Configuration.
• Write clean Java code, with C/C++ knowledge being a strong plus.
• Bring Automotive Infotainment experience (great to have, not mandatory).
