Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Senior Engineer (AOSP) to design and develop real-time embedded software and PC/mobile applications. You will analyze requirements, participate in system and software design, and perform extensive testing, debugging, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong knowledge of AOSP, Android platform services, and cross-platform porting, with hands-on coding in C++, Java/Kotlin and Shell scripting, plus experience

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of AOSP build system, AOSP workflow and cross platform development of Native Applications.
• Must have knowledge of Android Framework, Android System-Vendor services, JNI, AIDL, Se-policy rules in Android framework.
• Must Have Knowledge of Android HIDL for vendor specific modules such as Cameras, Wi‑Fi, BT, GPS, 9 Axis Sensors, Battery etc.
• Strong knowledge of Android porting on various platforms and Device based customization of UI and Backend services.
• Experience in working with different embedded platform with processors from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel or similar
• Must have programming skills with C++,JAVA/Kotlin, Shell script
• Experience in working with development tools like GIT, SVN, JIRA, Android studio etc.
• Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, analytical mind set, perfection seeker.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and development of real time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software application.
