Qualifications

• Experience in Android Applications, Framework and Native development is required.
• Strong Java, C/C++ programming skills are essential.
• Deep understanding of Android Boot Sequence and Framework module architecture.
• Extensive work with Android framework customization (WindowManager, ActivityManager, Zygote, SystemServer, etc.).
• Experience with Android HIDL interfaces, HAL implementation and customizations.
• Proficient in Android System concepts and IPC/OS fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of Android internals and AOSP (P/Q) expertise is preferred.

This role demands deep expertise in embedded systems and automotive software architectures, with a focus on innovation, quality, and scalability. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge software that meets stringent automotive industry standards and enhances vehicle performance and safety. The position requires strategic thinking, hands‑on coding, and mentoring capabilities to influence both technical direction and team growth within a fast‑paced, evolving automotive technology environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Experience in Android Applications, Framework and Native development
• Strong Java, C/C++ programming skills.
• Understanding of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture.
• Must have worked on Android framework customization extensively (WindowManager, ActivityManager, Zygote, SystemServer Views, Audio, Video, Power Module, etc.)
• Experience on Android HIDL interfaces and HAL implementation and customizations
• Proficient in Android System concepts.
• Strong in fundamentals of IPC and OS concepts.
• Good experience in Android internals (Android AOSP P/Q expertise preferred)

Educational Qualifications Preferred

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with extensive experience in automotive software development.
