Job summary

Evalueserve is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst to join the Lending Services team. You will support bankers across the end-to-end lending journey, performing financial spreading, PD/LGD analysis, and covenant reviews.

The role requires strong accounting and financial skills, experience with lending platforms (Credit lens, nCino) and Excel. Collaborative teamwork and timely task completion are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting from a reputed institute.
• 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis or lending/credit.
• Strong accounting and financial skills.
• Experience on lending platforms or credit search platforms like Credit lens, nCino.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build a strong team culture.
• Ability to ensure tasks of team members are completed on time.
• Understanding and experience of credit review or underwriting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support bankers in end-to-end lending/credit processes.
• Financials spreading (PL, BS, CF) on model or platform.
• Handle periodic MIS and workflow management.
• Compute metrics and PD/LGD spreading on risk rating platforms.
• Calculate covenants in line with facility agreements and provide rationale for results.
• Prepare annual/quarterly/half-yearly reviews for small to mid-sized connections.
• Analyze operating, leverage and liquidity ratios for historical and forecast periods.

About the Role

We are looking to hire someone with experience in Financial Statement Analysis, Income Statement Analysis, Cashflow Analysis, Ratio Analysis, Financial Spreading, Calculating ratio, EBITDA Analysis, Covenants monitoring.

Responsibilities-

Analyst/Senior Analyst will join the Lending Services (Corporate and commercial banking) team at Evalueserve, supporting bankers in critical lending/credit processes across the end-to-end lending journey.

• Financials spreading (PL, BS and CF) on excel based model or lending platform along with key credit.
• Must have experience in team handling, exposure to periodic MIS, Workflow management.
• Metrics calculation.
• Performing PD/LGD spreading on risk rating platforms (Quantitative & Qualitative Parameters).
• Calculating covenants in line with facility agreements and providing detailed rationale for covenant Met/Breach results.
• Performing Annual/Quarterly or Half yearly reviews small or medium connections:
• Business Overview.
• Financial Analysis (Historical and Forecast) (Operating, Leverage & Liquidity ratios).
• PD/LGD analysis.
• Verifying/Calculating compliance against bank transaction guidelines (DSC, FCCR, LTV, Interest cover, leverage etc.) or any other sector-based guideline.
• Collection of interest, Past Due Reconciliation, Unusual rate review, tax tracking on commercial lending.
• Trades & Settlements Support: Assignment Drafts, Lender KYC, Loan Assignments, Funded/Unfunded Obligation Changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree with a major in finance, economics, accounting or from a reputed institute with 3+ years’ experience in the similar profile
• Strong Accounting and financial skills
• Understanding and experience of credit review or underwriting role is desirable
• Experience on lending platforms or credit search platforms like Credit lens, nCino,
• Excellent interpersonal and ability to build strong team culture
• Ability to ensure that tasks of team members are completed in a timely manner
• Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
