Job summary

Infomerics Ratings in Chennai seeks a finance analytics professional to oversee surveillance, rating note reviews, and data integrity. You will leverage Excel, modelling, and benchmarking to ensure compliant reports across rating processes.

You will coordinate with bankers and clients, track periodic reviews, and prepare analytical outputs including bond yield and equity price reports, ensuring regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, CFA (preferred), or equivalent qualification in finance/analytics.
• Prior experience with surveillance, monitoring, or quality review of rating notes is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, ratio analysis, and peer benchmarking.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication skills for follow-ups with clients and bankers.

Responsibilities

• Review IG rating notes for exposures above 150 crore for compliance and accuracy.
• Ensure all sections are complete or marked NA; verify policy references, dates, DSCR, and analytical details.
• Validate rating models: correct model type, no tampering with pre-filled cells.
• Review Inter-Firm Analysis: minimum 3 peers, proper comparison basis, similar industry/size/geography, or nearest peers as applicable.
• Confirm analysis dimensions match standard rating note templates and add required declarations.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure documentation and analyst folders meet regulatory standards.
• Track and schedule annual surveillance for rated exposures (NCDs within 12 months; bank loans within 15 months).
• Monitor provisional ratings to ensure review within 90 days.
• Follow up on interest and principal repayments for NCDs and term loans; send reminders and maintain records.
• Send quarterly QIS communication to clients.
• Generate QRN reports for CRO review.
• Monitor industry developments, media updates, and Google alerts; share positives/negatives with the rating team.
• Coordinate with bankers for required information and clarifications.
• Prepare and update bond yield tracker and equity price reports.
• Track and prepare INC surveillance rating packs (INC-on-INC cases).
